  11. Following on Bloglovin' ! This dress is stunning… I would keep it pretty simple as you did because it's such a standout piece itself. Definetly some strappy shoes though and maybe a fun printed sash for a belt.

  12. I would wear some great gold sparkle heels that I own.Big hoop earrings and maybe a simple chain necklace and hoop bracelets.Very sexy!!!! I am on google connect

  13. such a lovely color! I would like to wear a belt which would fit the dress exactly on my waist, then, because I see it's a bit loose, I would pull all the extra fabric to the back, which would end in a draped dress(in the back) Sounds really complicated, but I like to make things a little more special than the usual way. Black pumps, black clutch, and about the jewelery, well, I think I'd wear something black&gold. A statement necklace most probably.

  14. Hi Lida,

Amazing giveaway! I would wear it with a kelly green bow in my hair, and red lipstick, with kelly green shoes and black accessories! so beautiful!

  15. Following you on bloglovin πŸ™‚

I would totally funk up this dress! As it will probably already be a little big on me (I'm pretty petite), I would emphasize the fit with an oversized knee length cardigan, preferrably in a rich burgundy color, cinch the waist with a vintage black double wrap belt, and finish it off with some amazing Jeffrey Campbell wedges! Accessories would be a small vintage clutch and piles of rings for the jewelry.

    1. Oh, you are the first so far to do an over-sized cardigan with this dress – cool. Thanks for your submission and good luck in the draw!

Amazing, amazing, glamourous dress. I have some sparkly silk heels and gold jewelry I'd wear with it. And I'd wear my hair up. The model you have wearing it in the photos is beautiful!

  21. I'm following via Google Friend Connect. I'd wear this dress with a pair of cute gold leather ballet flats. I'm also going to wear some long, modernistic chain necklaces.

  22. I have you on Bloglovin'.

I'm pregnant, but I think I can still rock this dress with a giant gold belt, my sky high cognac wedges, and a simple chignon hair-do. I'd make Husband take me somewhere nice for dinner. After baby comes, I'll wear it to a fancy sushi dinner– oh how I've missed sushi!

    1. Oh that's amazing. CONGRATULATIONS on the baby to come dear Indiana!!! When my friend was pregnant she couldn't eat sushi too and that was such a huge part of her diet before.
Thanks for your submission and good luck in the draw!

  23. I'd satyle it with a long sparkling crystals necklace, golden strap shoes and a golden clutch.

I follow via Google Friend Connect.

    spamscape [at] gmail [dot] com

  24. I follow with Google Friend connect! πŸ™‚

I'd style this dress with a skinny blue belt, lots of long layered necklaces, and kickass platform sandals.

  25. I'm following through Friend Connect!

I would sweep my hair up into something effortlessly elegant; then add a brown waist belt and kelly green shoes. Plus some jewelry… but nothing that would take away from the dress (if thats even possible!) perhaps a thin gold, brown or green bracelet.

And Ta-da! Ready to be ridiculously glamourous!

  26. Wow. This is an amazing dress! I would keep it classy and pretty simple – a small black necklace, stud earrings and black pumps since the dress is the main piece πŸ™‚

  27. I would definitely have to bring out the vintage in this dress. Either with some antique or brushed gold accessories and the perfect pair of pumps with a platform. Purse of the same color of the shoes. Hair would be in big romantic curls, nothing too fussy with a complimentary nail color to match the jewelry. Oh the possibilities!

    1. Love your ideas for bringing out the vintage quality of the dress – sounds gorgeous :). Thanks for your submission and good luck in the draw!

  28. Hi I first have to say that I think that your style is phenomenal! I follow you on Bloglovin.

Now for my looks if I had this beautiful dress…..hmm what would I do….

Fall Look: Brown Herringbone Blazer, with opaque aubergine tights, brown booties and a beautiful pashmina with hints of brown, gold and aubergine. I would finish the look off with a dark amethyst gold ring for a little bling.

Winter look: I would put a light weight fitted long sleeved turtleneck under the dress, and opaque black tights. I would go for an edgy pump to complement a chunky necklace and belt. I would have to see but I might also add a chunky ring.

Spring Look: I would wear this with a tan trench coat (with a ΒΎ length sleeve) a subtle black pump and a big black leather bag. With simple jewellery; like a small pendent on a long chain, stud earrings, and one statement ring.

Summer look: I would wear a simple open toe pump in a nude or camel colour, with my hair pulled up to show long whimsical gold and turquoise earrings. I would also wear bangles and a large gold ring.

Okay done, but I am sure I could find so many great ways to wear this lovely dress its a really great giveaway! πŸ™‚ xx Michelle

    1. Wow, thank you so very much for this thorough submission. I love how you broke it down by season and it's cool to see that you have ideas for ways to wear the dress all year round. Thanks for your submission and good luck in the draw!

  29. With this dress being so simple I think there are quite a few days to style it. One day I would pair it with my maroon skinny snakeskin embossed belt, some simple jewlery and nude heels…
Another day I could funk it up with a studded belt, some bolder jewlery and chunky heels

  30. How beautiful πŸ™‚ Thanks for the chance!

I followed you on Google Friend Connect and am your 201st person!

I would style this dress with lace or ruffles to go around the neckline using a light shirt inside. I would also wear a wide belt with golden tones on the buckle. I would also pair this with lots of golden, rustic, and even silver jewelry to accentuate the look since the dress doesn't have any pattern. I would wear beige gladiator wedges with golden flower shoe clips to make the look more feminine. Of course this dress would look best in high heels πŸ™‚ I would also pair this with a black flowery fascinator to make it look like the outfit came from another decade!

I got a little too imaginative! Hope you enjoyed it πŸ™‚

    1. Layering the dress over a lacy shirt i so original and a great way to intensify the femininity of it. Thanks for your submission and good luck in the draw!

I'm following you on Blogger and on Bloglovin so please count me in!

Also, I think there are several ways in which this beautiful dress could be worn. One way would be to keep it simple by wearing it with warm colored shoes and accessories like brown and beige. Another way would be to add pops of color, so I would add a pair of beautiful blue pumps I just bought a couple of weeks ago. Another way would be to add a statement necklace… the possibilities are endless!

Thank you so much for this giveaway Lida!

  37. I'd wrap my BRAVE leather pyramid-studded belt (looks just like SJP's in the first S&TC film) around the waist. I'd wear black YSL platform pumps to give me height as this dress would be a little long on me because I'm petite. And finally, I'd wear some simple gold bangles and one or two chunky rings to accessorize.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    1. Sounds pretty Stephanie, and I totally relate to the need for heels or platforms :).

  38. I love the color and texture of this dress. Without taking away attention from the dress, I'd wear it with a deep-red leather bracelet and red peep-toe shoes.

  39. I think that nothing complements gold quite as nicely as black, so I would style this with a pair of black vintage t-strap heels and a super-thin gold snake chain belt. I would keep the jewelry moderately understated to let the gorgeous dress speak for itself. I'd sport a big black onyx cocktail ring and then a very thin gold chain necklace with an itty bitty charm – right at collarbone length. I would wear my hair up in a loose chignon with several wavy pieces hanging down to frame my face, and I'd carry a small black vintage patent clutch with a gold, rhinestone-studded clasp.

Thanks for the opportunity, and I'm glad to be a new GFC follower!

  40. of course I'm a follower! I love how effortlessly put together everything you wear seems!

I would style this dress with deep purple accents such as a belt and huge ring, and I have the most perfect black suede BCBG heels,. which also have a retro feel due to the button details on them… and perhaps a mini fascinator with some pearl detailing… I can't help but amp up the retro feel with a piece like this!

  59. I would rock this lovely, butter D&G dress with my incredible vintage, wine-colored Gucci lizard clutch and pair of bow D&G strappy stilettos. I must add that I lucked out upon both treasures in a THRIFT STORE in New Orleans! I'd style my locks in a loose 40's inspired manner and pair it all with a dewey cheek and a substaintally colored lip and a natural, lightly shimmer eye with minimal liner and a full lash. Oh I can picture the whole ensemble and how I would LOVE to wear it all right about now!

  62. i absolutely love this dress, and I'm a slightly more casual dresser, so i would wear it with cashmere/silk black drapey cardigan, a grouping of olive tree wood bangle from cote d'azur, and nude patent bloch flats.

  63. Well, I posted the comment before I actually started following on GFC.. so, here's another so you can just click my name if I'm the lucky winner πŸ™‚

  72. I love the Blog Girl!
and thanx for this chance to win a beautiful dress.

Okay this is a almost multi-purpose dress could be casual or up-fit
at the same time however it dolce and gabanna =) so a in betweeen look would
go lovely with the beautiful look.

I Think a bold solid pump/heel to bring out this dress will do wonders
“RED” would bring this dress out awesome, a beautiful dazzling red hand-held clutch with a few sparkels the color of the dress nude on it. I'd say a different belt than the display picture, a bit thicker to divide the line your belly and lower half
and ensinuate the waist more. Also with this dress it requires a beautiful unique up-do with a hump in the style almost but not to high to bring out the alignment and posture in the neck and reveal how well the shoudlers are with this dress.
Accersseries and jewlery would have to be very light with little to none a beautiful dazzling neckalce to match the nude dress no more red is needed in this case you already have the heels and the clutch, for the arms a watch defintely ! a beautiful thinned lace watch would work well to bring the whole look of the dress together and there you have it!!

Btw, Im Auna. and found you on chictopia.com love the style! keepitup.

  73. I'm a follower on google friend connect as missyt_2000. This is a fantastic giveaway!

I would style this dress with a chunky gold/red bracelet and necklace. And I'd wear fabulous strappy red shoes! And of course red lipstick!!

  74. Just started following via GoogleFriendConnect As MangoLeafClothing

The dress looks gorgeous on your skin tone and hair color, I dont know why you're parting with it!

However I would wear this with a quiet brown and green Kashmiri Shawl loosely draped as a stole and cinched at waist with a mud colored, flower-print fabric braid belt. My hip length brown hair would be worn in a dutch crown braid with gold leaf earrings in my lobes. And a pair of brown t-strap heels with small crocheted flowers on the front.

  75. This is a beautiful dress! I make my own jewelry with different funky beads. I am sure that I could create a bracelet that would match this dress to a “T”!

  76. AAAAAAAAAH, this dress is too, too amazing. My mother has a golden, vintage, flapper-style dress from her days in high school that I have always envied–and this is like staring into a shiny, sleek, elegant piece of her past and my own future, if only the auspicious forces of bloglovin' will be on my side. I would style it with my classy black heels and a thin snakeskin, gold-clasped belt.

  77. This dress impresses so much just wearing it, that I would not exaggerate with the accessories. I would just wear nude shoes to it and then it is perfect, no distraction from the dress! πŸ™‚

  78. I love the color of this dress! If I were to rock this dress, I will style it by wearing a cheetah print cardi/blazer and cinch it with a wide black belt on the waist and rock it with black booties for a more modern/edgy style.

Phoebe On A High / Tracy Tuason

  79. To be truthfully honest, I am not sure how I would wear this dress… I don't really sit there weeks and days before getting an outfit and think of a million ways to wear it but I know that I have tons of beautiful accessories that would liven up the look and make it unique. I love accessorizing, there are many different ways of wearing one piece and all you have to do is change up the accessories. The dress is gorgeous by the way, and I can imagine feeling feminine wearing it, I live in America, so when you tell me the dress is a size 38- I don't know what you mean b/c in America a size 38 would be the large sizes.

  80. i would definitely wear that dress with matching accessories, long necklace, earrings and bracelet. πŸ™‚

  81. Follow via GFC. I love this dress! I would probably keep it simple and elegant with black jewelry and black heels.

  82. following you on bloglovin! I'd like to wear this dress with nude shoes (sling back shoes) and a shiny clutch and sparkling earrings! of course with a updo ponytail ! i love it!

  83. following you on bloglovin! I'd like to wear this dress with nude shoes (sling back shoes) and a shiny clutch and sparkling earrings! of course with a updo ponytail ! i love it! again…I don't see my last post :S

  84. I absolutely love gold outfits, but I think they can go very, very wrong if overdone. This is why whenever I wear gold outfits, I try to stick to one colour scheme and keep the shoes and accessories simple! Gold is such a rich, beautiful tone, and overwhelming it is the last thing I want.

I would style this gorgeous D&G dress with nude/skin-toned, close-toed pumps, to keep with the same colour range as the gold. As much as I am a shoe fiend, I don't think they should be the focal point of this outfit. To cinch the waist and add more shape, I would use a thin, nude belt. I would avoid any sort of coloured, metallic, or obvious buckle… again keeping it simple.

The jewelry is where I'd add the pop of colour. I'm picturing a turquoise tear-drop pendant that skims just below the colar bones. With a gold chain, of course. I cannot bring myself to put silver and gold together *shudder*. No bangles this time, but I'd wear my usual gold rings. Talking specifics, a gold knuckle ring and simpler gold band on one hand, and a large turquoise stone centre ring on the other, to match the necklace.

My look is ALMOST pulled together, I swear! I would keep a nude lip with a bit of gloss, peach cheeks, and simple eye makeup – a neutral-toned palette and a coat of mascara. I'm very proud of my long, thick Asian hair, so I would wear it down with large, natural-looking waves. My long dark hair is another reason why I would want to keep it simple with accessories! There's already a large contrast between the black of my hair, and the rich gold colour of the dress.

I follow you on Fashionista Talk (and Chictopia, if that counts).

    – Kathy

    1. Oh dear, that wasn't a brief comment at all! I was too caught up in the fantasies of this D&G dress, I suppose πŸ˜›

  85. Amazing! Shoot, I would have to ask my fashionista friend how to style this – I've never been in the “big leagues” before!

  86. I would wear them with leather brown shoes and handbag of the same colour. They remind me a lot time when I was at the secondary school. great idea to choose them as a prize.:-)

  87. Hola Lida,

I've been following you on chicisimo! You have impeccable taste; I love seeing your colour combos. Right now, I am visualizing this dress with a coral-y coloured sequin clutch and an off white peep- toe pump with a sleek side pony tail–very romantic-e. Also, this would look a-mazing with a sun kissed glow-Oh my. I would also wear this with white lace gloves and a vintage straw-like purse/clutch I own and I would style my hair in a braided crown(think Ralph Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection)along with a simple nude pump. I am contemplating on also pairing it with a pair of metallic bronze espadrilles I own. The possibilities are endless with this dress. I am utterly thrilled with this giveaway!

  89. With such a gorgeous classic cut i think it's a statement in itself.

Nude heels have to happen, as does minimal jewelry; only a delicate gold bracelet. I think a necklace could too easily make the neckline too busy so i'd steer clear.

I'd wear my hair in a side parting, fairly short (not quite shoulder length) in loose waves. Makeup would be smouldering eyes, shimmering shadow with peachy lippy, and nude nails. And of course a spray or two of No.5!

I just followed with google friend connect πŸ™‚

Wouldn't blame you if you 'happened' to pick yourself out of the draw :-p. The dress is stunning!

    Siobhan McKenzie x

  90. How completely stunning! Keeping my fingers crossed! πŸ™‚ I think it would be perfect with some ivory linen heels and a simple pearl necklace!

  91. Sexy dress! I'd style this with one or multiple really long necklaces and these perfect gold shoes I have!

  92. Following you on bloglovin'! I'm new to it, but when I saw this dress I knew I had to enter! By the way, I love your blog, you are so gorgeous!

I would wear the dress with my lilac purple maxstudio strappy heels and my small bcbg gold and black clutch-handbag. I would also wear my great great grandmother's cameo brooch as a necklace.

  93. I am a new follower. This is a fantastic giveaway! I would style this dress with a pair of nude heels and some of my great-grandmother's gold estate jewelry.

  94. following you on gfc by the username 'Ezzy'.
would definately style this outfit with black gladiator heels, black headband & a black with golden sequined clutch !!

  95. wowsers, thanks for such a great giveaway!
i'm your follower on gfc as Dasha.
i'd keep it simple and classy since the dress has this retro 20s flair – seamed stockings, black pumps and purse, a flower headband and maybe black laced gloves. but i'm sure this dress will look fabulous with alwost everything, it;s a real gem

  96. I would style this with many strands of pearl necklaces of varying lengths with a black bow on the strands, and a tiny black patent leather belt. A large black flower ring, such as the ones by Kenneth Jay Lane. A black and gold brocade clutch and black peep toe shoes. If a jacket was needed (as it usually is in Alberta…) then a very strong shouldered black blazer a la Balmain to juxtapose the fluidity of the dress. As an alternative to the many necklaces, a large bib necklace would be amazing or even better…the black coral statement necklace from Kenneth Jay Lane.

  97. Hmmm. I left a comment and now its gone! I would style this dress with many strands of long pearl necklaces with a large black bow attaching the strands. I would add in a skinny patent leather belt, a gold and black brocade clutch and black peep toes. If I needed a jacket (which I almost always do in Alberta…) then I would wear a Balmain strong shouldered black blazer to juxtapose the fluidity of the dress. As alternatives to the necklace, I could also style this with a large bib necklace or a large statement black coral necklace like the one by Kenneth Jay Lane.

  98. I would wear it with black strappy wedges, I'd lift it up a bit to make it above the knee and belt it with a black leather belt and add lots of black jewelry. Then I'd put my hair into a messy bun, grab a big handbag.

  99. I would wear this dress with a pair of black open toed sling back high heels, a gold skinny belt, a small gold v intage handbag, and a gold vintage necklace and braclet. I would wear my hair down with some natural curls and my makeup would be very natural with a focus on accentuating my blue eyes and long lashes

  100. The dress by itself is totally stunning! I'd wear it with an eyeliner, red lips, pearls necklace, golden bracelet, belt and nude sandals.

  105. Hello!Lotta love ur way from Bulgaria.I follow u on bloglovin.
For this dress id choose a pair of lace-all-over pumps that i have and the combo sounds soo sweet. Not much of a jewellry, maybe just my swallow necklace that i wear on a daily bases.

  106. I am following!

I am traditional and such a fancy dress only requires minimal accessories. I'd pair it with a black pearl necklace and if possible, some great black christian Louboutin pumps! That is all that's needed.

  107. I'm a new follower on GFC as Jenny Bolech! I'd style this dress with these fantastic new looooong earrings I just got, and some tall tall heels!

  108. Hi! I discovered now your blog! I like your style, you're so nice. πŸ™‚

    The Dolce&Gabbana dress is awesome!
I would wear it with some brown elegant shoes(that have some nice little golden details on them) , a golden “oriental” bracelet and a brown/golden clutch.

But that's just one way of styling this amazing dress, I also have other ideas. For example, I would wear it with some nude shoes, or golden sandals with a “greek allure” πŸ™‚ and maybe a gold bracelet, an expensive one:)) Oh, and a nice necklace. I would be attentive not to hide the beauty of the dress by using a lot of accesories, and especially a lot of golden accesories..

Thanks for the chance of winning it!

  109. Amazing dress…

my accessories would be a “Citrine Necklace, with the fitting Earrings and a Bracelet”

    Love this Giveaway

  112. I follow your blog πŸ™‚
Wonderful dress! I'd almost like to add some color to the outfit, and when I think of colors that would go well with gold, I first think of electric blue.. so maybe electric blue heels, an electric blue clutch and then some hair accessory. Not sure if any jewelry would be needed, the dress is so shiny itself πŸ™‚

  113. Oh My! Love it….I would style this dress with a 36″ wooden and champagne crystal neckace along with champagne pearl studs. Then I would wear CC skype bracelet to add the shine of gold! Then shoes….ooooo! These would be brown in color with vintage golden chainbows centered! So Divine!!! Fingers crossed!

  114. This dress is incredible. I would put my blond hair up in braids Γ  la FreePeople models and reminiscent of the same grecian elegance that this dress seems to also emulate. I would keep the jewelry simple- small golden drop earrings – and pair it with black peep-toe pumps, not shiny but classic. This dress will bring fashion happiness to anyone who wins it!

  115. I loveeeeee D&G! they had this amazing design of clothes and shoes! It would nice to win this dress πŸ™‚

  116. I loveeeeee D&G! they had this amazing design of clothes and shoes! It would nice to win this dress πŸ™‚

  117. beautiful piece. I would take a simple small teal necklace and pair it with teal pumps not too crazy but just enough to give the dress a pop of color while not taking away the elegance of the dress.
