truly vintage

I was looking through some old photo albums and I decided to share some of what I found with you. Fashion really does go round in circles because I would wear pretty much everything I saw on my mom and aunt in those vintage pics. I attribute my love for fashion and aesthetics to the two of them. Your creativity is contagious so thank you. By the way, that’s my aunt in the polkadot dress (above).

My aunt Larissa.

My aunt (left) and my mom (right).

My mom (biggest one) with a bunch of kids I don’t know.

Same deal.

Mom and Dad in the 80s.

My parents’ wedding day. I’m not sure why everyone looks so serious but it’s almost alarming.

My bro. True sailor at heart.

Me :).

My bother, Β Taras and I outside of the circus in Moldova.

Me (left), Taras (middle), and my cousin, Victor (right).

Taras and I.

Same obviously.

Bossing boys around.

At a New Years party in a snowflake costume (in the shiny dress).

Taras and I. That was one of my three dresses for about four years.

Super studious posing.

I’m the one in the jean skirt. Lol, my mom was pretty progressive.

Another New Years party. My grandfather worked at an opera/ballet theatre so I got to wear professional ballerina costumes.

  2. These are so nostalgic. I have some amazing photos of my mom as well. I need to get my hands on those and post. Love your last dress that was so cool to be wearing professional ballet costumes.

    1. I know right. I was always so excited to get my hands on them. I would walk around pretending I was a princess and everything. And eventually that game grew into the blog :).
