New York City: Day 5

Before class, today’s event was the screening of Girl Model and a discussion with filmmakers Ashley Sabin and David Redmond.  This documentary was pretty eye opening and highly disturbing.  It begins with a Russian teen model casting and follows one young girl’s travel to Tokyo for modeling work.  I’m not sure if my own Eastern European background contributed to this effect, but I literally lost sleep over this film.  So if you’re into thought provoking stuff, I strongly recommend it.

In order of appearance, the first photo is of model Sara Ziff, who is also the Founder and Director of Model Alliance.  Followed by filmmaker Ashley Sabin and my bestie Kim.

What I’m wearing:

  • Versace for H&M silk dress
  • BLMA Venezia clip-on earrings
  • Alexander McQueen tri-skull ring
  • Prada sunglasses
  • Marciano heels

  1. Looking stunning as usual, the dress looks amazing on you 🙂 You do look like a true Eastern European Beauty which is well known for being the most beautiful woman in the world (at least in Europe) 🙂 Well,I may be just a little bit biased, since I also have an Eastern European background: I am half Serbian, half Croatian/Italian :)…
